Description

The Orthopedic Surgical Practice of Santa Barbara is seeking a Part Time to Full Time Physician Assistant to join our busy, well-established orthopedic team. The position focuses on outpatient orthopedic care and post operative follow-up management within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You will work alongside a team of 4 physicians, primarily managing sports injuries, joint replacements and fracture cases with moderate autonomy under physician oversight. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient orthopedic care and post operative follow-up
• Conduct patient assessments and clinical evaluations
• Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures and recovery
• manage medical records and document patient encounters accurately
• coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
