The Department of Medical Imaging of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG) is accepting applications for a fellowship-trained, board-certified part-time (PRN) breast imager with expertise in all aspects of breast imaging including digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional breast imaging (multimodality image-guided needle biopsy and localization).

This position offers you lots of flexibility in schedule and location! You could work at our Lone Tree Medical Office in Centennial or our Franklin Medical Office near City Park in Denver. If you live farther north then we could also support some hours at our Rock Creek Office in Lafayette in addition to working at our Franklin Medical Office.

From April 1, 2023 – October 1, 2023 we can guarantee as much as 40 hours a week or as few as 16 hours a week, based on your preference. After October 1, 2023, if you are a good fit for the department, then we can negotiate guaranteed minimum hours based on your needs and the departments needs. This position offers the possibility of flexible full or half day(s) of work on a set schedule and/or week long blocks of work to cover vacations. You get to make your schedule based on your availability! If there is a part of breast imaging that you would prefer to not perform (for example, breast MRI biopsies or reading breast MRIs) then please still apply and we could discuss that possibility.

We are a collegial department of 24 fellowship-trained radiologists across all subspecialties, as well as 4 part-time radiologists who are all highly valued team members. The breast imaging section is comprised of 7 full time fellowship-trained, subspecialized radiologists committed to providing high quality, service oriented, compassionate breast imaging care. Our breast imaging radiologists are part of a larger multidisciplinary team – including oncologists, surgeons and pathologists – working together to save lives from breast cancer.

While the greatest need is for full scope subspecialized breast imaging, additional PRN opportunities include daytime plain film and ultrasound shifts, if interested.
