Locums Cardiology Physician in Alpena, Michigan - Flexible Schedule, Fast Credentialing

Choose one to two weeks per month in a general cardiology assignment that blends outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and procedural work. This long-term opportunity offers flexibility with an easy call schedule.

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient clinic combined with inpatient rounding and cardiac testing interpretation
• General cardiology with invasive experience preferred but not required
• Diagnostic catheterizations, TEEs, cardioversions, and loop implant procedures based on experience
• Approximately 18 clinic patients and 7 to 10 inpatient encounters per day

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour days
• Two weeks per month preferred; one week per month considered
• Weeknight and weekend call rotation
• Long-term monthly coverage

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Michigan license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Cardiology
• ACLS and BLS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
• Travel accommodations provided for eligible physicians
