Description
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group has a full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join a growing employed physician group practice at Trinity Health Oakland, located in Pontiac, Michigan.
The selected candidate will join our current solo ID physician as a direct partner, forming the foundation of what is intended to grow into a larger group practice at this location. Trinity Health IHA Medical Group already has an established group at Trinity Health Ann Arbor which works closely with our physician at this location.
This is predominantly an inpatient opportunity with an ambulatory component (one half day clinic per week). The practice is supported by a dedicated ID/antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist and a robust pharmacy department. We use Epic EMR.
Trinity Health Oakland is a 486-bed community teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center serving Oakland County and the surrounding region of southeast Michigan. Our patient population reflects the rich socioeconomic and cultural diversity of the greater Detroit metropolitan area, providing a broad and clinically rewarding case mix well-suited to the full breadth of infectious disease practice.
This position includes teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine residents and medical students, with the potential for academic appointment.
