MUSC Health Catawba Division is seeking a board certified or board eligible Rheumatologist to join a collaborative team in one of the fastest growing regions in South Carolina to care for the rapidly growing local population of Lancaster County, SC. This position will have the opportunity to grow this practice with the support of excellent local hospital staff, hospitalists, intensivists and general surgeons. As a partner and collaborator with our academic medical center, you’ll have access to advanced technologies such as specialty and sub-specialty diagnostic support, and direct affiliation with clinical centers.
MUSC Health Catawba plans for a comprehensive medical campus in Indian Land, South Carolina, designed to meet the evolving needs of this rapidly growing and diverse community, home to families, 55+ neighborhoods, and vibrant mixed-use developments. The new campus will include a three-story medical office building and MUSC Health Indian Land Medical Center, a full-service hospital anticipated to break ground in 2025.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidates must be MD/DO and BC/BE in Rheumatology
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of South Carolina
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills

• Mainly outpatient with little to no hospital coverage
• Ability to teach internal medicine and family medicine residents
